Rewards System

Points System

For the badges and milestones that you complete in the Facilitator program, you will earn several Arcade + Bonus Points that you can REDEEM for prizes and Google Cloud swags at the Google Skills Arcade prize counter.

Game Badges

Each Game badge awards 1 Arcade Point. Every month, 6 new Arcade Games are released, giving you multiple opportunities to earn points throughout the Facilitator Program.

Note: Although up to 18 Game Badges can be completed during the program, only 12 game completions count towards the Ultimate Milestone.

Skill Badges

Every 2 Skill Badge completions earn you 1 Arcade Point. Complete badges from the Google Skills catalog to build practical cloud and AI skills while progressing through the Facilitator milestones.

Bonus Milestone (NEW)

Earn an extra 10 Bonus Points by completing the new Bonus Milestone. You'll build your first AI Agent using Google Cloud and Vertex AI after meeting the eligibility requirements.

Requirements: Be enrolled in the Facilitator Program, earn the GEAR badge, complete Milestone #1, finish the required GEAR Skill Badges, build your AI Agent, and submit your project for verification.

Important Note

Earning any of the milestones below does NOT make you eligible for any swags/prizes. In the facilitator program, you are mainly just earning Bonus points that you can accumulate and add to your Arcade points to reach the actual Google Skills Arcade Player achievements and thus become eligible for swags/prizes.

Facilitator Program FAQs

Quick answers to the most common questions about milestones, points, badges, and progress tracking.

They are two separate systems. Facilitator Milestones are part of the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program and reward you with Bonus Points when you meet milestone requirements. Arcade Player Tiers belong to the main Google Skills Arcade program, where your overall points determine your season achievement.
Arcade Points are earned through eligible Arcade activities like games and Skill Badges, following the official Google Skills Arcade point system. Bonus Points are additional rewards earned by completing Facilitator Program milestones. Your overall progress is based on both where applicable.
Every 2 eligible Skill Badges earn you 1 Arcade Point. If you've completed only 1 Skill Badge, you'll need one more eligible Skill Badge before another Arcade Point is added through this conversion.
No. A single Skill Badge is still valuable, but it does not complete the Skill Badge-to-point conversion. Once you earn a second eligible Skill Badge, you'll receive the corresponding Arcade Point.
Yes. If you complete the remaining requirements during your eligible cohort period and the Skill Badge is successfully awarded to your public Google Skills profile, it can still count according to the program rules.
No. Player Tier rewards have limited availability and are distributed according to the official Arcade rules. Reaching the required points makes you eligible, but availability depends on the season's reward policy.
Visit your public Google Skills profile to review your earned badges, calculate your Arcade Points using the official point system, and combine them with any eligible Facilitator Bonus Points to understand your overall progress.
Bonus Points are tracked through the Facilitator Program. We'll share progress updates through official communication channels and email reminders during the cohort whenever applicable.
Badges and points aren't always the same thing. Since two Skill Badges become one Arcade Point, your badge total will often be higher than your Arcade Point total.
No. Your points are tied to your own learning record and Google Skills profile. They cannot be shared, transferred, gifted, or merged with another person's account.
No. Bonus Points are awarded specifically for your Facilitator Program participation and remain linked to your own account.
Complete more eligible Skill Badges, participate in Arcade games, and join official Arcade activities announced during the season. Always check that an activity is currently eligible before starting.
There can be a short delay while systems sync your latest achievements. First, confirm that the Skill Badge appears on your public Google Skills profile and that you're viewing the correct account.
Yes, if your progress is being validated through your public profile. A private profile may prevent the system from verifying your completed badges.
The Skill Badge usually needs to be officially awarded before it can be validated. If you've finished the requirements, wait for the badge to appear on your public profile before checking your progress again.
It depends on the current season's eligibility rules. Some activities are only counted during specific timelines, so always refer to the latest official program guidelines.
Yes. If the main Arcade season is still running, you can continue earning regular Arcade Points through eligible activities, even if your Facilitator Milestone has already been completed.
They may still earn regular Arcade Points if they're eligible for the ongoing Arcade season, but they generally won't be added to Facilitator Milestones once milestone validation has closed.
Only while the milestone window remains open. Once milestone validation is locked, additional badges won't change your milestone result, although they can still contribute to regular Arcade Points.
After your milestone is validated according to the program rules, the corresponding Bonus Points are awarded. Validation, point updates, and reward processing may happen at different stages.
No. You only need enough eligible Arcade Points and Bonus Points to meet the requirements for your target Player Tier under the current season's rules.
No. Completing the same Skill Badge multiple times doesn't generate additional unique credit unless the official rules specifically state otherwise.
Meeting the point requirement doesn't automatically reserve a reward spot. If the season has limited availability, rewards follow the official allocation rules announced by Google.
Always use the same Google account that's linked to your Google Skills profile. Using multiple accounts can create validation issues because progress isn't automatically combined.
Progress reports may refresh at different times or use a specific validation snapshot. Temporary differences are normal while systems update.
Regularly check your public Google Skills profile, monitor your Facilitator progress report when available, and follow official Arcade announcements for new games, milestones, deadlines, and point updates.
